Breast Anomalies and Asymmetry Cases

This patient presents with congenital/developmental asymmetry. Top photos show tuberous deformity with size asymmetry. A notoriously difficult condition to treat, these post-operative views demonstrate how bilateral breast lift (one side reduced) and implants create symmetry and pleasing breast shape.

Occasionally, the most simple of problems require ingenuity to obtain a solution. Inverted nipples are a fairly common phenomenon that can cause significant emotional distress. For years only a surgical treatment excising the tight ducts was available, but it often led to scarring. A technique I use is minimally invasive and requires wearing a body implement for several weeks. It preserves nipple sensation and function and is well tolerated.

A simple solution to a common condition.
