Simple upper lid Blepharoplasty when done ARTISTICALLY, can really impact someone’s appearance. “Artistic” Blepharoplasty requires proper shaping of the skin removal (incision) and proper removal/preservation of local fat. A truly nice outcome.
Case - 22
This case shown demonstrates a patient who underwent bilateral upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat transposition. The picture is taken years later. She still has nice lower lid contour of skin and volume.
Case - 23
Sometimes a relatively simple procedure can yield such dramatic outcomes. Here an upper eyelid blepharoplasty creates a younger refreshed look. (When I do upper eyelids, I take care of NOT hollowing out the orbital socket. I hate that look. I remove fat from the medial pocket but not the middle or lateral. Combined with skin removal – a fine result)!
Case - 24
This patient is shown before surgery with fat bags, wrinkled skin, and hollow grooves under bags.
She is shown several months later after lower lid blepharoplasty including removal of excess skin, transposition of fat from bags to splay out over orbital bone while releasing the groove causing the hollow, and then elevating cheek with a lateral cheek lift.
Case - 25
Upper and lower lid blepharoplasty with lower lid fat transposition and mini lateral cheek lift. A very nice result.
Case - 26
This patient complained of the typical things women between 45-60 complain about: Relatively rapid aging of the face compared to an earlier age with joweling, neck laxity, eyelid excess skin, and sagging cheeks.
I combined my composite SMAS double plane face and neck lift with cheek lift, and eyelid blepharoplasty to transform her face to a natural youthful beauty she had 15 or 20 years before. A beautiful result.
Case - 27
This woman presented with significant signs of facial aging: joweling, neck sag and excess, eyelid overhang.
I combined my double plane SMAS face and neck lift with cheek lift and upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty and fat grafting of jowel line to transform her to the youthful appearance she had 15-20 years ago A fine outcome.
Case - 28
There are so many things to discuss about regarding this patient. Facial aging here has caused deep brow furrows, eyelid skin excess, wrinkled lid skin, lid cheek separation, joweling, and neck sagging.
She is shown after coronal browlift/plasty, upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, cheek lift, face and neck (with SMAS lift). I have re-positioned sagging fat within the face to a more youthful position. All lines of the forehead (along with heaviness) have been
eliminated. An outstanding outcome.
