This patient underwent bilateral mastectomy for breast cancer, staged reconstruction with tissue expander, ADM, and bilateral de-epithelialized flaps.

I have developed a unique solution to help women with sagging larger breasts who must have a mastectomy.  Typically, these women have the poorest cosmetic outcomes with traditional mastectomy due to saggy excess skin.   My approach uses vertical and horizontal inframammary incisions to shape the new breast like a breast lift would.

She is shown with expander’s right after mastectomy, and again after nipple reconstruction and shape refinement.  A great result.

Constriction malformation can be a complex problem in breast augmentation.  It requires careful planning with proper execution of surgical technique. Results mature over time as the surrounding tissues soften.

Two sets of post op photos are shown.  First three weeks later, and then four months later.  Note how the vestiges of construction still are present three weeks later but disappear by four months.  A great result!

This is a good example of how tight tissue soften up over several months after silicone gel breast augmentation.

The first set of post op photos are taken three weeks after surgery.  The final photos taken 3 months after surgery.  Soft, full C, nicely shaped breasts.

Very large breasts with sag present significant challenges for reconstruction after mastectomy.  It can be complex to handle the tremendous excess of skin (both horizontal and vertical).  I have developed a unique technique that manages this using a breast lift pattern approach.  This patient is shown at various stages along the process.  A fine result.

This patient is shown 3 weeks and then 3 months after cosmetic breast augmentation with silicone gel implants placed under the muscle.  You can see how subtle shape improvements occur as the tissues fully soften around the implant, allowing more implant volume to fill the lower pole.  A fine result.

This patient is shown only three weeks after breast lift, change of implants, abdominoplasty, flankplasty, and liposuction! Amazing results so far!

These 9 photos show the subtle change that occurs between three weeks post op and three months. Notice how, after the breast softens completely, the nipple and areola rise as the implant volume fills out the lower part of the breast.

This patient is shown 3 weeks and 3 months after breast augmentation. “Follow Recovery” shows that in this breast augmentation there is a subtle change in implant volume location over time as the breast and muscle soften. The implant stays in position, but the volume within the implant changes. This makes the nipple rise up to an ideal aesthetic position.
