Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery) Cases

Endo-nasal (closed) rhinoplasty is a ballet of a number of smaller components.  Tip cartilage reduction, lowering cartilage and bone bridge height, septoplasty, nasal tip set back with slight upward rotation, and osteotomies to narrow nasal bone width together yield a fine natural-looking nose that matches her face.  A very nice outcome.

Rhinoplasty requires restraint and is a balance of aesthetics.  I call it a ballet of a number of different smaller parts.  They all have to interrelate.  Taking down the bridge hump, for instance, affects the width of the nose.  reducing projection will, in turn, affect the amount of hump that needed to be reduced.

Here, I’ve done endonasal rhinoplasty on a young man.  He now has a finely proportioned face.

This young woman underwent endonasal rhinoplasty, submucous resection, and septoplasty. I exercise restraint in trying to assure the patient would end up with a nose that is natural and believable, not overdone and matches the face. She is shown 9 months later with a fine outcome.

This case demonstrates endo-nasal rhinoplasty. I lowered the bridge (bone and cartilage hump), reduced the over-projecting tip significantly, and elevated the tip. A fine result.

This young woman presented with over projecting nose with a large hump. Rhinoplasty creates a balance on her face. A very nice outcome.

This young woman presented with nasal tip droop (especially when smiling), a dorsal hump, wide bridge, and bulbous tip. Rhinoplasty (and correction of a deviated septum) improved breathing, raised the tip, narrowed the bridge, reduced the hump and create a nice aesthetic balanced facial appearance – enhancing her natural beauty.

This patient underwent rhinoplasty with a strong desire not to have an “overdone” nose job. Here is a nice natural outcome that beautifully fits proportionally to her face.

Case Study Categories: Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery).

This patient presented with a crooked over-projecting nose, bridge hump, wide nose and septal deviation. Her upper lip was pulled up into the nose due to the over-projection.

Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty corrected the airway issues, straightened the nose, reduced the hump, lifted the tip, creating an overall nice shape and it now blends harmoniously with her face – allowing us to now appreciate her beautiful facial features.

This young man presented with the severely crooked nose with bridge hump and airway obstruction from septal deviation. Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty corrected the crooked nose, cleared the airway obstruction and reduced his nose proportionately to fit his masculine face. A fine outcome.

This case shows how chin augmentation with an implant can dramatically improve a person’s appearance.
