In order to curb the spread of COVID-19, Spiro Plastic Surgery has instated new COVID-19 policies for patients and visitors.
All patients coming to the office for any consultations for anything above and including the neck as well as filler must have a COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test performed by a healthcare provider with negative results within 72 hours of their appointment regardless of vaccination status.
Botox patients who do not require their masks to be removed during treatment, do not require COVID-19 testing, regardless of vaccination status.
All patients and visitors will be asked to fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire upon arrival to the practice. If vaccinated, the office will check patient and visitor identification against COVID-19 vaccine cards.
All patients must wear masks covering both their nose and mouth at all times unless asked to remove it by staff for physical examination, photos, or treatments.
Patients may have one visitor accompany them for their visit with Dr. Spiro if necessary. Alternatively, a patient can connect with a chosen friend, family member, or caregiver virtually during the visit. Visitors may be asked to wait in the waiting room until called back into an examination room by staff.
Skincare patients who are fully vaccinated, have not been exposed to COVID-19, and do not have any COVID-19, cold, or flu symptoms do not need a COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test prior to their appointment at this time. Any unvaccinated patients must have a COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test performed by a healthcare provider with negative results within 72 hours of their appointment.
We ask that all patients limit talking during their treatment.
