Preparing for Your Breast Lift with Implants
Preparing for breast lift surgery with implants may include not smoking for at least six weeks before your surgery, adjusting your medications, getting a physical and lab testing, and avoiding anti-inflammatory drugs that may increase bleeding. Please make arrangements for a family member or friend to drive you home and stay with you for the first 24 hours following surgery.

Before surgery, I determine the best implant placement and size based on your anatomy, type of implant, and type of lift needed in your preoperative consultation. I make incisions based on your treatment plan, creating a pocket in the breast area to place an implant either underneath or on top of the pectoral muscle. I reposition and resize the nipples and areolas to a more youthful size and height and reshape your breast tissue to achieve your desired breast contour. I also trim and remove any excess skin to create a tighter and firmer appearance. Once the surgery is complete, I close your incisions with dissolving sutures.
