Your experience begins with a member of our team by phone. We will discuss your goals and medical history, answer preliminary questions, explain the consultation process, and arrange your in-person appointment with Dr. Spiro.
CARE BEYOND DISTANCE
Patients travel to Spiro Plastic Surgery from across the country. Our team provides thoughtful guidance throughout the experience, helping you prepare for each visit, coordinate your recovery, and remain connected to your care after returning home.

All patients must meet with Dr. Spiro in person before surgery can be planned. During your consultation, he will examine you, discuss your goals, recommend the appropriate procedure or combination of procedures, review pricing, and outline your anticipated recovery. If you are ready to proceed, our team can also begin discussing potential surgical dates. Before surgery is confirmed, all required medical clearances and practice screening requirements must be completed. These may include nicotine and THC testing, which may be repeated at Dr. Spiro’s discretion.
You will return to New Jersey for surgery and remain in the area for the period Dr. Spiro determines is appropriate for your procedure and recovery. Our team will explain your transportation, caregiver, and postoperative needs in advance. For patients requiring additional assistance, we can provide information about an independent nurse concierge service offering transportation and postoperative care.
Dr. Spiro will determine when it is appropriate for you to return home based on your procedure and early recovery. Face-lift patients are generally seen twice weekly after surgery, while breast and body surgical patients are typically seen weekly during the first four to six weeks. Your specific post-operative schedule will be reviewed during the consultation and adjusted as your recovery progresses.
