Meet Mikayla Barbarossa, Nurse Practitioner!
Mikayla began her nursing career as a Medical-Surgical Oncology Nurse over 4 years ago and joined the practice in 2022. Since then, she has expanded her knowledge in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to an expert level. During this time, Mikayla worked closely with Dr. Spiro as a Registered Nurse caring for our surgical patients while also continuing her education and earning her master’s degree, becoming a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. She continues to advance her education as she is currently working on earning her Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) so she can assist Dr. Spiro in the operating room.
Mikayla received extensive training by Dr. Spiro on both surgical and non-surgical procedures, such as Neurotoxin and dermal filler injections. With a commitment to ongoing education and staying at the forefront of the latest advancements, Mikayla regularly attends specialized training and workshops.
