What are the Benefits of Diamond Glow?
Everyone can benefit from Diamond Glow as it will help reveal more youthful skin. The treatment is personalized based on skin type and skin concerns/goals. Even sensitive skin can typically tolerate the treatment as several diamond tips are attached to the handpiece. The five customizable serums can help plump and hydrate the skin, infuse human growth factors for anti-aging, provide added moisture, and help reduce acne.
What Should I Expect from my diamond flow treatment?
Before the treatment, your skin will be cleansed and analyzed. Our Esthetician will select which diamond tip and serum will best suit your needs based on your skin type, skincare goals, and concerns. During the treatment, you will feel vibrations and a light suction from the machine on your face as it resurfaces your skin and infuses the serums. After the treatment, you will immediately notice how clean your skin feels, and most people see optimal results 72 hours after the treatment as the serums work to optimize your skin’s health. Each patient can view the debris that was extracted from their skin after their treatment (this is entirely optional but is super satisfying!) There is minimal to no downtime with this treatment, although some patients with sensitive skin may experience some temporary light redness. Diamond Glow treatments can be performed on the same day as our other Medical Spa offerings, including chemical peels, microneedling (with/without PRP), and injectables. Having a Diamond Glow Facial before our other services will prep your skin and enhance all other treatments after it.
How Many Diamond Glow Facial Treatments Will I Need?
Improvement can be seen after one treatment, but for best results, we recommend a series of at least three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Depending on your skin and your goals, we may recommend additions to the treatments, such as adding chemical peels or microneedling (with/without PRP).
How Soon Will I See My Diamond Glow Results, and How Long Will My Results Last?
Results can be seen immediately but may become most apparent 72 hours after treatment. Individual results will vary and can depend on your pore size, lifestyle, exposure to pollutants, and individual skincare routines. Skin Medica products are used during the treatment, but it is always recommended that patients use a medical-grade skincare routine to maintain results.
