OBAGI – BLUE PEEL RADIANCE
Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is a blend of salicylic, lactic, and glycolic acid that will give you tighter, smoother, and brighter looking skin immediately. This peel is for those who want a mild peel with little to no downtime. Patients may experience mild peeling within the first 48 hours lasting 2-5 days. SPF 30 minimum should be used at all times. This peel can be repeated every two to four weeks.
SKIN MEDICA – ILLUMINIZE PEEL
The Illuminize Peel from Skin Medica is the mildest peel out of the three from the line. It is a blend of salicylic, mandelic, and phytic acid. This gentle peel is for those with mild skin imperfections or people who want a quick glow prior to an event and offers no downtime with little or no visible peeling. The Illuminize Peel reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, pigment irregularities and offers brighter, more radiant skin. There is a possibility of minor flaking 3-4 days post peel. This mild peel can be repeated every two weeks and is a great starter peel for those who have never had a chemical peel before.
SKIN MEDICA – VITALIZE PEEL
The Vitalize Peel from Skin Medica is for those with mild to moderate skin imperfections who are looking to address sun damage, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This peel penetrates the first three layers of the epidermis and is made up of a blend of salicylic and lactic acid with an added layer of retinol on top to enhance the peel. Patients can expect mild to moderate peeling lasting 2-5 days. The Vitalize Peel can be repeated every three to four weeks.
SKIN MEDICA – REJUVENIZE PEEL
The Rejuvenize Peel from Skin Medica is a strong blend of salicylic and lactic acid with an added layer of retinol on top to enhance the peel. It is for those with moderate to severe imperfections who are looking to address sun damage, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This is the strongest peel from Skin Medica as it penetrates all five layers of the epidermis. Patients can expect mild to moderate peeling lasting 2-5 days. This peel is not appropriate for those who have never had a chemical peel and have not pre-treated with medical grade products.
