Breast Reconstruction (Latissimus Flap) Case 28

Gender
Female

Description

This case demonstrates a patient who had numerous biopsy deformities that robbed her of any shape.  After lumpectomy and radiation she had an even more significant deformity.  When newly diagnosed with another breast cancer she wisely chose bilateral mastectomy.

She is shown after bilateral reconstruction with latissimus flaps and implants.  She declined formal nipple and areola reconstruction, opting instead for a simple tattoo.  I used 3-D technique to make it appear to have an actual nipple.
