Breast Reconstruction (Latissimus Flap) Case 27

Gender
Female

Description

This patient presented with right breast cancer and plans to undergo a bilateral mastectomy. She desired to have as complete a reconstruction as possible at the time of mastectomy.

Bilateral latissimus flap and implants (silicone gel) was chosen. She is shown before mastectomy with breast sag. Latissimus flap allowed for lifting at time of reconstruction. Center views are just after mastectomy. She is then shown after nipple reconstruction and pigmentation. A very nice outcome and camouflaging of the potential mastectomy site deformity as well.
